Your privacy matters. This Policy explains our current data practices. Actual legal rights may vary by location and are subject to applicable law. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, brokerage credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information through email or support forms.
01

Scope And Acceptance

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by SDEFX University™, So Darn Easy Forex, and related websites, funnels, forms, courses, member areas, communities, events, communications, and services that link to this Policy.

By using our services or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described here. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, brokers, payment processors, social networks, or other services that operate under their own privacy notices.

02

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, country, and similar identifiers.
  • Account information: login-related records, membership tier, access status, preferences, and support history.
  • Transaction information: products purchased, amounts, dates, payment status, invoices, processor references, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Enrollment information: Open Enrollment date, assigned cohort, activation date, membership level, and eligibility status.
  • Participation information: attendance, module access, community activity, communications, submitted questions, and training engagement.
  • Point Guarantee™ records: assigned guarantee level, cohort dates, qualifying setup records, verification history, refund-review status, and records needed to prevent duplicate or restarted guarantees.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, clicks, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Marketing information: opt-in status, email engagement, campaign source, preferences, and unsubscribe requests.
  • Content you provide: messages, survey responses, testimonials, screenshots, files, recordings, or other information voluntarily submitted.

We do not need or request brokerage usernames, brokerage passwords, Social Security numbers, or private keys to provide ordinary educational services. Do not submit them.

03

Sources Of Information

We may receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from payment and course platforms, from communications or community providers, from analytics and advertising providers, and from referrals or partners when legally permitted.

If you provide information about another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide it and that it may be used as described in this Policy.

04

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Process purchases, confirm payments, create accounts, and provide access.
  • Assign monthly cohorts and administer the five-day Open Enrollment process.
  • Deliver training, Signals With Guidance™, membership services, events, recordings, and support.
  • Verify Point Guarantee™ setup opportunities and evaluate timely refund-review requests.
  • Send transactional, enrollment, cohort, security, billing, and service communications.
  • Send marketing messages where permitted and manage consent or opt-out choices.
  • Personalize content, measure performance, understand use, and improve services.
  • Detect fraud, account sharing, abuse, chargebacks, security incidents, or violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with law, maintain records, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety.
05

Cohort And Point Guarantee™ Records

Legacy Memberships may operate through five-day Open Enrollment windows and assigned monthly cohorts. We process enrollment, cohort, access, and Signals With Guidance™ records to administer those services and verify the one-time Point Guarantee™.

Because the guarantee does not renew or restart, we may retain a record that a member received or used an initial Point Guarantee™ even after cancellation, refund, expiration, upgrade, or later reactivation. This helps maintain accurate eligibility records, prevent duplicate guarantees, and resolve disputes.

Verification data may include timestamps, community or Telegram logs, setup records, communications, market records, access history, and refund-review documentation.

06

Payments And Financial Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive limited transaction information such as payment status, billing details, processor identification, card type, and the final digits of a payment card. We generally do not receive or store the full payment-card number.

Payment providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their security, retention, and international-processing practices are outside our direct control.

07

Cookies, Pixels, And Analytics

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, click-through links, and similar technologies to keep services functioning, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure traffic, understand engagement, attribute campaigns, and improve marketing.

You may be able to control cookies through browser settings or a consent tool where provided. Blocking certain technologies may affect site functionality, login, checkout, video, or member access.

Some browsers transmit Global Privacy Control or other opt-out signals. Where legally required and technically supported, we will process recognized preference signals as required by applicable law.

08

Email, SMS, And Marketing Communications

We may send service-related messages needed to administer purchases, accounts, cohorts, billing, security, training, and support. These transactional communications are not promotional subscriptions.

With consent or where otherwise legally permitted, we may send information about enrollment openings, educational content, events, products, and services. Marketing emails may be stopped by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional messages.

If text messaging is offered, consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and instructions for opting out will be provided with the service.

09

How We Share Information

We may disclose information to:

  • Hosting, funnel, course, email, customer-support, video, webinar, analytics, community, and technology providers.
  • Payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention providers, and accounting providers.

We may also share information at your direction or with your consent. Public posts, testimonials, comments, or community messages may be visible to other members or the public according to the setting in which they are submitted.

10

Sale, Sharing, And Targeted Advertising

We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. Certain advertising, analytics, or campaign technologies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising under some state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged.

Where applicable, you may request to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity by contacting our Privacy Compliance Officer. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals we know are under the age where opt-in consent is required.

11

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer accounts and cohorts, maintain Point Guarantee™ history, complete transactions, comply with tax and legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our rights.

Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to backups and lawful recordkeeping obligations.

12

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. However, no website, transmission, platform, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, protecting account credentials, securing your devices, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

13

International Processing

SDEFX University™ and many of its service providers operate in the United States. If you access services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions whose laws may differ from those where you live.

Where required, we use legally recognized mechanisms or contractual protections for cross-border processing. Use of our services does not by itself mean that we participate in any voluntary international privacy framework.

14

16

Submitting A Request Or Appeal

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If a request is denied, instructions for an available appeal will be provided where required.

We may retain limited information about a request to document compliance, prevent fraud, or preserve legal rights.
